Objective
Create a storefront and connect product, size and shopping-bag interactions with server-side validation.
Tools & architecture
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Cloudflare Workers, D1, Drizzle, GitHub. The frontend connects to a Worker API backed by D1. GitHub tracks the source and database migrations.
Development & challenges
The work spans product records, shopping-bag interactions, SMS consent and checkout preparation, with separate checks for each integration.
Security considerations
Separate public assets from credentials and customer records. Keep payment activation gated and validate product choices on the server.
Testing & verification
Recorded checks cover the storefront, database behavior and catalog. Payment and messaging integrations require their own end-to-end verification.
Outcome & limitations
The storefront is live. Checkout, fulfillment and messaging remain areas for continued integration testing.
What I learned
A working frontend is one layer. Deployment, data and provider configuration each need their own evidence.
