Tools & architecture
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, Cloudflare Worker source. Original main embeds imagery and scripts in one HTML document; a Worker serves the experience.
Development & challenges
The study room, swing and folded letter give the story its visual rhythm. The newer multi-page portfolio builds on those ideas.
Security considerations
Public HTML and JavaScript are visible to visitors. Keep private data out of assets and isolate new work from the original deployment.
Testing & verification
The original site is preserved in its own repository. New chapters are developed separately.
Outcome & limitations
The original remains preserved. A separate multi-page architecture now makes individual chapters directly addressable.
What I learned
Preserving the meaningful parts does not require preserving every old style override.
